I had written this in my last book and reiterated it in countless interviews, most recently on June 28: Donald Trump is a huge problem for the globalist establishment and woke ideology fanatics, and the only way to prevent his return to the White House is to physically eliminate him.
Today’s attempted assassination is the result of a campaign of hatred and systematic mystification of reality that has not stopped even after the attack: just to give one example, CNN, a worthy representative of a now moribund journalism, published a headline devoid of any mention of the attack: “Secret Service took Trump away during a rally.”
Such a headline could imply anything, even that they arrested him during his rally. Unbelievable, isn’t it? A former president of the United States suffers an attempted assassination and all the mainstream media can do is downplay and distort. It is yet another demonstration of how they have committed professional suicide by being reduced to fabricating fake news on a daily basis to counter Patriots who dare to stand up to the globalists.
The premise of Biden‘s campaign is clear: Trump is a fascist who must be stopped at all costs. This violent and reckless rhetoric produced today’s attempted assassination. It is an attack not only on a man, but on a symbol of resistance against cultural and political homogenization. It is time for Elly Schlein and the other leaders of the Italian left to seriously reflect on the toxicity of their propaganda, as the systematic demonization of the political opponent has reached dangerous and unacceptable levels even in our latitudes, just think of the media and verbal violence suffered daily by Giorgia Meloni and the Brothers of Italy community.
Finally, net of the different dynamics, it is impossible not to see a parallel between these two images. Trump, climbing onto the step of his car with a bloodied face, inevitably evokes that December 13, 2009, when Silvio Berlusconi, after being attacked in Milan’s Piazza Duomo, made the same gesture of reaction. Two leaders, two men targeted by political hatred, both symbols of a right wing that will not bend and will not give up.
In this climate of intolerance and violence, we ask: where have democratic principles and respect for the opponent gone? The answer seems unfortunately obvious. Those in media power have chosen the path of mystification and demonization, forgetting that democracy is based on confrontation and mutual respect. And as the world watches in dismay, we wonder who will be the next target of this modern witch hunt.
Trump is not just one man, he is the symbol of a larger battle, a battle for freedom of thought and for the survival of a true democracy, not driven by the strong powers; and as long as there are men and women willing to fight for the values of Western Civilization, the hope of living in a truly free world will never die.
Come on, President Trump! Never surrender!
